Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." — John 14:6
Angela: So Leroy- I read your book. For the first half I kept saying no way that can't be- my mind couldn't even grasp it. And when I got to the second half of the book I almost started to say the same thing but God. I know Him and I trust Him - So I am not surprised he used you mightily .Thanks for sharing your story.
The book is phenomenal!! I didn't want to stop reading because I needed to see what was next!
It's amazing to worship with an individual and have no idea about their journey! That is surely a testament to the greatness of God!! Your journey is an absolute inspiration to someone that feels that they're in a hopeless situation!! It was an inspiration to me. This is an exercise in faith and obedience! I am going to pass this book to someone that is struggling with some demons and see life as
God bless you and thank you for sharing your gift!!
Tell me how to write a review. I may be a bit challenged, lol! I need to share!

Thanking you for being a voice in todays world that will proclaim the name of Jesus. My husband and I both preach/teach/ music in a small A/G church here in Springfield. The Pastor here is being a care giver for his wife and we thank God we can help were ever we can. Jesus is coming soon.
I sat down last night and read your book through. I found it very fascinating and encouraging to see how much God loves you.
I remember taking Charlotte for her chemo/radiation over in Granite City. Then one day she said will you tell me if there is another place on my back. I felt it and sure enough a huge spot. She said "oh, we haven't had the pool long and I was so wanting to be able to swim in it more". Charlotte and Caroline were in my SS class.
Then myself, Carol Snajdr and Rita Werner sat with her the night she went to be with Jesus. You and Caroline were just walking out of the hospital as we went in
When we went upstairs to her room she was in obvious pain. I rang for the nurse and the nurse came in and realized her condition. She wasn't able to speak at that point. The nurse came back and said...here is some morphine Charlotte and she shook her head no. the nurse said open your mouth. And she did, but kept shaking her head no. We prayed for her several times and she broke out in a cold sweat. I kept wiping her head with a cold wash cloth. I rang the bell when she passed away and the nurse called you and Caroline. The nurse asked us to leave and I said "no, I'm staying here until the family gets here, so they let us". You were so tired when you came in...I believe you had been working night hours or early morning hours. I remember after the funeral, Caroline wanted to have lunch with me and find out about Charlottes final moments. Caroline couldn't understand how Charlotte could have changed so quickly because when you had walked out the door the last time, she was still talking quite coherently. I told her that evidently God didn't want her to be there those final moments to see her struggle so. She said, "why didn't God tell us it was close to the end?" I said, if God could talk through a donkey to get a point across, that he could have stopped her from leaving. But the struggle might have been to hard for her to see. I knew Charlotte was struggling to keep alive for you and to raise those precious children. But God saw otherwise.
Your children were the most precious ones I'd ever seen. So obedient. So cute. So well dressed. I had them in childrens church. I remember Christina the most. How is she doing and where does she live? Is she married?
And I would love to meet your new wife. She looks very sweet in the pictures.
Blessings and continue your ministry as long as God gives you strength.. Thank you again for the book.
Edythe Crabb Stewart and Gerald Stewart (he's waiting to read the book, since I had it all night. :-)
Hello, I'm nearing finishing your book. So far I've really enjoyed it. Truth be told this is the first book I will have read in its entirety outside of books I had to read for school. Thank you for sharing your story and please send me the info for your blog so I can write a review.......Shilla A

Mr. Cannady your story is inspiring. It provides comfort knowing that through our trials and tribulations, through out test, the weapons that are formed against us will not prosper... I see through the development of your story that have favor from God and he knew you would end being a great inspiration to many including me. As I reflect back on my life, my story isn't nearly as fascinating as yours but I definitely give God thanks for the abundance of favor he has on me and for all the wonderful people he has graced me with in my life .
Dear Brother Cannady,

I loved the book, it was the ONLY book I have completed from front to back that was not school related! I think your testimony is uplifting with ability to inspire the most hopeless sole! Thank you so much Mr. Leroy Cannady for sharing with me. Plus I loved seeing Amber grow. I feel like I was in the moment in your book and having luxury of knowing one of your children just added to the inspiration and thrill of your book!!!! Kudos Shella A
